Location- Redmond, WA

Job Description:

• Mechanics of materials (Ferrous and nonferrous metal plasticity,
• plastics, rubbers and adhesives)

• Stress analysis and fatigue calculations

• Linear and non-linear finite element analysis (elastic-plastic,
• creep, hyperelastic, viscoelastic, damage)

• Thermo mechanical simulation

• Kinematic Simulations

• Engineering Hand Calculations
• Highly skilled in FEA tools Abaqus (Primary Solver) LS Dyna (Secondary Solver), Hypermesh and Kinematics tools ANSYS RBD / RecurDyn / MSC.ADAMS

Responsibilities:


• Perform FEA using ABAQUS or ANSYS as Solver and Hypermesh as
• preprocessing tool. Work experience in Rigid & Flex body analysis using ANSYS RBD / RecurDyn / MSC.ADAMS.

• Analyze design for insight into the effect of stress and materials
• on the ability to design to achieve extremely tight stability requirements.

• A deep understanding of materials, solid mechanics, thermal
• engineering, Analytical Mechanics, Kinematics, Mechanism design and related simulation methodologies.

• IC Package modeling and solder joint fatigue calculations

• Influence design team (ME, thermal, optical, IC packaging, EE and
• audio) to get it right the first time
