Job Description :

•             Assist VES Organization in collecting, analyzing, defining and documenting SDN/NFV Test Requirements in support of vE-CPE Infrastructure and Applications Testing.

•             Be part of the Test Team responsible for defining appropriate metrics for testing of performance, reliability, quality and scalability parameters related to SDN/NFV Infrastructure and Applications Testing for vE-CPE.

•             Be part of Test Team responsible for developing Test Scenarios and Test Cases pertinent to SDN/NFV testing of vE-CPE.

•             Will be responsible for jointly reviewing the Test Scenarios and Test Cases with the Architecture and Product Deployment teams to ensure completeness and accuracy, prior to commencing test cycles.

•             Be part of the Test Team responsible for developing and executing SDN/NFV Test Scripts in Python Language. Responsible for jointly reviewing the Test Results with the appropriate organizations within VES and with Verizon.

       

Mandatory Skills:

•             8 + years of experience in Automation and software testing of networking devices, with  extensive experience in Perl / Python, TCL

•             Domain knowledge and experience in VMware and/or KVM Virtualized Infrastructure / SDN/NFV.

•             Hands on experience designing, requirement analysis, PoC development, and grounds-up Automation Framework Implementation.

•             Excellent knowledge on L2 /L3 Protocols like OSPF/BGP/MPLS on various platforms and edge devices.

•             Experience in test case creation, automation and execution.

•             Excellent concepts in manual / functional & automation testing, along with Black box and white box testing.

•             Extensive experience in defining lab set-up for test environments.

•             Hands on experience in defining performance test approach and strategy from system requirements and design documents.
